I am reminded during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season of God’s plentiful blessings and provisions, and His miraculous gift of hope and salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.
I will soon be traveling to Cuba to help organize our spring Minimester mission trip. Even in the midst of economic uncertainty in our country, nothing compares to what our brothers and sisters in the Lord, and the entire country of Cuba, go through each and every day. Their country’s economic crisis is not only daily, but it has been going on for decades. We are blessed even in the midst of turbulent times and are hopeful because our treasures are not in the temporary hay and straw of the world, but in the eternal riches and treasure box, not of this world, but in Jesus Christ.
Last month, I communicated to our PCA family that in the midst of our global economic crisis, we were working diligently to control costs and expenses. Every family and business throughout our nation is doing the same thing, and I want to assure you of three things:
1. Stewarding tuition and gift dollars is of the highest priority to us.
2. There will be no adjustments that impact the quality of education, learning and classroom culture.
3. We remain committed to you, our stakeholders, to build a Kingdom and Christ-centered institution that is sustaining.
God bless you and your family as we continue to celebrate His grace, mercy and provision of redemption. The birth of His Son is celebrated every day at Prestonwood Christian Academy.
Warmly,
Larry
